As science, the arts and the creative mind are being understood as interdependent, my own work strives to contribute to the notion that the act of perception is an evolutionary need where we look to make order out of diverse experiences. Using compositions of non-eucledian forms, my paintings try to initiate a mental process that looks for and creates order. The figure-ground acts as a collection of disparate and irregular images that will exercise our responses to find meaning. The mental process involved in finding meaning involves reflection, choices and conclusions.
